Ingredients:
- 2 cup(s) uncooked Basmati Rice
- 5 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp butter or ghee
- 4 cups water
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup Carrots
- 1/2 cup Peas
- Lime Juice (optional)
- Heat butter / ghee on medium level in a large heavy-bottomed vessel for about 2 minute(s).
- Add 2 tbsp cumin seeds and fry for 2 mins till the seeds splutter.
- Add carrots, peas and fry for 2-3 mins.
- Add the rice, lime juice.
- Take the electric cooker and add all the above ingredients with water, 3tbsp of cumin seeds and salt.

Note:
Can be served with tomato ketchup or raita or any curry.
